Victor Lloyd elected President of Detroit

Institute of Industrial Engineers

 

Victor Lloyd is elected as President of the Greater Detroit Chapter of the Institute of Industrial Engineers for 2007.  Victor resides in Sterling Heights and works at ProMedica as a Six Sigma Engineer in Toledo, Ohio.

When asked about his goals as chapter president, Victor replied:

 

“I would like to focus on continuing the strong community service presence the chapter has been providing to IIE, students, and the Detroit Area.  Working with our community helps our area and increases the awareness of what IE's can do for everyone.  By working with students we can show that giving back is an important part of being a professional engineer.”

 

Victor has over 25 years of Industrial Engineering experience with Beaumont Hospitals, PMC, Wayne State University in Michigan and ProMedica.

 

Victor holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering from Wayne State University.  He is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and a Senior member of IIE.
