Biography: Professional: Ron Brzuch is currently with Ford Motor Company in Cost Optimization. His work in Cost Estimating, Value Management and Competitive Analysis Teardown has netted millions of dollars of savings and avoidance every year in his tenure. Previous positions have been Supervisor Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Methods Engineering, Product Engineering and Plant Electrical Engineer and Safety Advisor while employed at Lectron Products, TRW, Williams International, Northern Telecom, Eaton, and Advanced Technology and Testing. Ron has a BSEE from Lawrence Institute of Technology and an MA in Business Management from Central Michigan University. Professional Institutions Offices Held: Ron Brzuch is a past president of the IIE Detroit Chapter. He has been a committee member, Officer and Board member since the late 1970's and held many Vice President positions including, Executive, Program, Development, Communication, Administration and Public Relations. He also is an active member in SME and SAE. Awards: Ron Brzuch received the Distinguished Service Award for his outstanding efforts and accomplishments for the Detroit Chapter IIE. Ron has received the IIE Newsletter Competition Platinum Award every year since 1999 as the chapter's Newsletter Editor V.P. He has been honored with a first place regional award for his personal work in Community Service and led a volunteer team that received the IIE Community Service International Award. He holds a U.S. patent through his work at Ford Motor Company and has received many various awards for his work in cost reduction. |
