Biography: Khaled Mabrouk has 16 years experience in the Discrete Event simulation field. The first 4.5 years were spent with Systems Modeling Corporation, and the last 10.5 years he has spent as a simulation entrepreneur and innovator. Mr. Mabrouk has assisted many companies successfully implement simulation. His contributions include managing simulation projects for them, training their employees on how to properly implement simulation, and assisting these companies in choosing the appropriate simulation software. He has worked with companies from a wide variety of industries, on a wide variety of applications. Mr. Mabrouk has extensive experience designing & coding simulation models in Arena, ProModel, and Witness. He also has extensive experience designing & coding Visual Basic & VBA interfaces. He has developed and delivered training programs such as "Simulation Basics for Engineers & Analysts" and "Simulation for Managers & Executives". In addition, Mr. Mabrouk has developed a standardized procedure for executing a simulation project that is documented in a "Standards" document. Mr. Mabrouk has authored 20 articles on the subject of discrete event simulation, and speaks frequently at major conferences on this subject. In addition, he has experience as a keynote speaker; including at the 2001 Industrial Engineering sponsored Simulation Solutions Conference. Mr. Mabrouk was also a co-founder of the Michigan Simulation User Group.
