Biography:

Professional : Kristen Cavender is an Industrial Engineer with 7 years experience in the healthcare arena.  She received her Bachelors Degree from Western Michigan University in 1997.  She also served as the Secretary for the Georgia HIMSS Chapter in 1999. 

Kristen is currently a Coordinator in the Management Engineering Department at Beaumont Hospital in Troy, Michigan.  She utilizes her IE skills in the areas of productivity and staffing analysis, process improvement and operational project management for facility expansion projects.  She also is a faculty member of Beaumont University, which is responsible for teaching Beaumont employees basic and advanced performance improvement tools as well as an introduction to statistics and control charts.
